Mini, Small, Classic or Large: which candle size should you choose?

Every Cocoflame scent comes in four sizes. Here's how they compare, so you can choose the right one for the room, or the person.

The four sizes

• Mini: 50g in a black tin. Small enough for a bedside table, a bathroom shelf or a desk.
• Small: 100g in a black tin. A step up, still easy to move around the house.
• Classic: 200g in an amber glass jar. Our everyday size for living rooms and bedrooms.
• Large: 340g in a frosted glass jar. The biggest, for open living areas and people who light a candle most evenings.

Which size for which room?

• Bathrooms, desks and small bedrooms: Mini or Small.
• Bedrooms and lounges: Classic.
• Big open living and dining areas: Large.

In general, a bigger candle has more wax, so it lasts longer, and a wider melt pool, so the scent can fill a bigger space.

Trying a new scent?

Start small. A Mini tin is an easy way to see if a scent suits you before you buy a bigger jar. The Discovery trio has three minis, one of each scent.

Whatever size you choose

Give it a proper first burn, letting the wax melt right to the edge, and keep burns to 3 to 4 hours. Our post on how to burn a soy candle for the first time explains why.
